Santos Rebounds and Advances to Copa Sudamericana Octavos
In an electrifying match at the iconic Vila Belmiro, Santos Laguna staged a remarkable comeback to advance to the Copa Sudamericana octavos. With Neymar entering the second half, Santos overcame an early deficit against Universidad Central de Venezuela by defeating them 4-2.
The game began with an early goal from Samuel Sosa (UCV) just 19 seconds in. However, Santos rallied and equalized through Miguel Terceros at the 39-minute mark. Cuca decided to bring Neymar into play for the second half, which changed the course of the match.

Universidad Central de Venezuela drew closer with an equalizing goal from Gonzalo Mottes via a corner kick in the 72nd minute.

Tigre Resists Nacional's Push
Tigre, with Paraguayan striker Alfio Ovidio Oviedo playing in the second half, managed to advance despite losing 2-1 against Nacional de Uruguay. The match took place in Victoria, Buenos Aires province.
Nacional dominated from the start with goals by Maximiliano Gómez (11') and Maximiliano Silvera (31'). However, Tigre corrected its mistakes in the second half and leveled the game. Santiago López scored the 2-1 goal for Tigre at the 81-minute mark.
Tigre will face Montevideo City Torque in the octavos de final.
