Santos Laguna Story

Santos Laguna was founded on August 4, 1983, in Torreón, Coahuila. The club was born out of an effort to revive professional football in the region. From the beginning, Santos aimed to establish itself as a strong competitor in the Mexican league.

Santos Laguna's golden era began in the late 1990s and continued into the 2000s. During this time, the club won several league championships, establishing itself as one of the most successful teams in Mexico. Their attractive style of play drew many fans.
